Odviosly Clash will have democracy, but will it be nothing but a meaningless choice (like SMAC), bascily a limited monarchy (like in Civ. II) or a real democracy? I don't know if it would be too boring to fight with a senate but that is what most Presidents spend their time doing these days.

Rather than posting questions like this you need to go to the web site and read. Then if you have suggestions post them in the govt. thread. Otherwise any good points you raise will likely be lost.

Check it out, I think you'll like the broad outline, although the details are still being worked out.
