Just to request something - the Civ 1 history graph! I loved seeing the rise and fall of all the empires, it adding so much more to ending the game, rather than just having a winning and losing. I would like to know what people think could be added to this part to make it even better? The way I look at it, you put considerable hours into playing it, I would like to spend a lot of time looking at what I had done. There is also the benefit of seeing things like wars that were happening, but you didn't see at the time. |

Yeah, I like(d) the power graph and replay stuff too. It would be great to be able to make a feature like the replay interactive. FE being able to pick a date and it would tell you if a big battle happened then and if so describe it. We have all kinds of great ideas for giving Clash a Soul (check out the characters threads FE) but we need to work on the bones and flesh first |

how about being able to record an entire game? I don't think the filesize would be that big and it would really be interesting to see how other people play and other people could comment on your games. |

There is a lot you could do with it. I like the ideas for the game - it would be excellent if you could see a replay for a particular 'holy war' or something like that.I don't know about recording the whole game though, is that not a bit of overkill? Would you really want to see the game move by move? |

Yes actually I would. I have downloaded a 175mb avi from a slow server just so I could watch a SC game, I am so glad I have t1 access. If the game had been a recorded game instead of an avi it would have been much easier to download. So yeah I think game recorders are going to become standard in a few years. You only have to record what is sent from player to player, you don't make a save file of every turn and mash them together. For those who don't want to download entire games the creator could release just the most interesting parts. Reading about other people's games is really fun, seeing them is even better. |

Yes, I see waht you mean, I suppose it would be really interesting to watch a war or something, and see how other people fought it. Would you envisage being able to go into the game as such, and perhaps see things like production queues etc? |
