Hi All,I found a really fantastic site. The site owners produced a TBS Game Developpment Kit. The system is in JAVA 2. We can save almost all of our effort, because this GDK support the background, rules part. I think it worth to check www.yagga.net Blade [This message has been edited by Blade Runner (edited September 15, 1999).] |

Hi Blade.I've read the yagga whitepaper on the yagga web site, and I find that their system actually seems very interesting. The only problem is, yagga is client-server only, and I guess we are orienting Clash MP toward a peer-to-peer model, which does not use a server. In this case, yagga could not be used. Anyway, I guess there are many ideas that we may use, and I think we should take a close look at yagga. Manu. |

You may want to ask the creator(s) if later versions will be peer to peer. |

I'm the programmer for the MP, and yes me and Mark think that peer to peer is what we are going to do, I have already made a rough sketch of the peer to peer model. | |
