Hi. Sorry if this has been dealt with before, I'm new to the group.
I'm trying to use my Civilisation maps for something else. Right noe the only thing I can do is capture the screen to work on it with Photoshop. Anyone has a way to convert the entire map to a graphic format I can work with?

Thanks.

Download Jorrit Vermeiren's MapEdit program - it lets you convert them to bitmaps with colors corresponding to terrain/special types. Hopefully that would let you do what you want. It's a really good program for monkeying with maps. It can be found here on Apolyton downloads.

Okay, I just tried it. Maybe I didn't use it properly (but it's so simple I don't think so), but I really lose a lot of details in the conversion, only the shape of the continent is recognizable.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. This program has several features I'll want to try out.
