My civII career began at the age of 26 or so. The original board game was already worn by the time I was 15. Many hours have been wasted as the leader of a civ - no life changes have altered that! Children, house, no matter, there's always time to civ. I got the original Civ in 1992, so I would have been 39 at the time.John-SJ

I've been playing CivII for just a few years now. I didn't even own a pc when it first came out. My first game of CivII was actually played on my Playstation....a truly agonizing experience. Though I have questionable skill at this game , I still consider myself to be rather "new" to the game. I refuse to do calculation in order to win, I prefer to simply have fun. |

Board Game - late 70s (?early 80s?) - I was in my early 30s Civ 1 & Civ 2 - pretty much as soon as they came out, but I have been unfaithful to both. Civ 2 @ deity seriously 18 months - two years ago at 51 years of age------------------ Scouse Git[1] "Staring at your screen in horror and disbelief when you open a saved game is one of the fun things of a succession game " - Hueij "The Great Library must be built!" I got Civ1 in year 1994 (I was 28 then). Got CTP1 at autumn 1999 and Civ2 at autumn 2000. Bought CTP2 at december 2000 and it was the worst computer game bargain ever So I switched back to Civ2 and started playing at deity level at the start of this year. I'm 34 now. |

First played Civ I in 1993, I was 13. I started playing Civ II a couple of years back. And it is still the best Civ game! |
