Author Topic:   Researching, are you? zyxpsilon Warlord Laval,Quebec,Canada Sep 2000 posted February 17, 2001 13:36         Strangest things have happened? Kinda'weird, if you ask me! Two races completely stopped their researching at the early stage of a game. (MGE, Emperor, around 2100BC) Now... i was wondering; HOW could something like that occur... 1) Lost a Capital to the barbarians? 2) Haven't found trade arrows? 3) Caught in a loop, somehow? 4) ??? Puzzling! Smash King Vancouver Canada pacific time Jul 1999 posted February 17, 2001 21:02          I saw that once.My embassy with orange(Carths I think) showed "researching none" for over 50 turns.Eventually they were gobbled up by another as the ai tryed(I pondered)to catch up for a spacerace. see here Lefty Scaevola King San Antonio TX USA Oct 2000 posted February 17, 2001 23:37         I sa the Egyptians once (they were the 2nd incanation of yellow in the game) wander around with two settlers on one end of a continent for over 200 years. The never build a city and thus never did research.
