I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could help me with this. The thing is that I have installed civ2 MGE in my PC (PIII 800, 128 SDRAM). The installation seemed to be fine. However, when I double-click on the desktop icon, a pop-up box appears stating: GETFRAME: ICDecompressEx returned -3The box cannot be closed no matter how many times you click on the OK button and the game never starts. Help me please! I am really desperate. I tried to contact MPS and of course they have ignored me. You guys are my last chance! |

Really? They answered my question... About your problem, I really have no idea. I'll check on it, though.

You neglect to tell us which OS you are running - it may well bear particularly if it is NT or W2000 ... ------------------ ____________ Scouse Git[1] "CARTAGO DELENDA EST" - Cato the Censor "The Great Library must be built!" I answered that already in the MP section. W98, UK version. I am very suspicious of that fact cos in my work I have W98, US version (same hardware) and the game runs smoothly. Does this make any sense? The ultimate proof that British English and American English are NOT the same language? |
