Civ 2 music is cool! My favorite on Civ 2 is "Hammurabi's Code". On Fantastic Worlds, probably "Jihad". I don't know about MPGE, what songs are on MPGE?------------------ Nam si violandum est ius, regnandi gratia violandum est: aliis rebus pietatem colas |

Jihad is from CiC I think well, the MGE tracks are the tracks from the original CD and a few from the scenario add-ons I don't know all those that were taken from the scenario CDs, but there are a few. not all I think |

the civil war song of course. I never realized how much I missed them until I started playing games with the music on again. I used to listen to my music cd's. Now I alternate. |

While I don't really put on a certain song/CD while CIVing, I have noticed something odd. I often play the same CD over and over for sometimes days on end. So now, whenever I put on the CD "the outer limits" by Voivod, I see those time guys from settlers running around in front of mee. a certain casette takes me back to simcity I and a certain Iron Maiden song is connected to CIV Isort of a pavlovian reflex i suppose |

I love the music in CivII! So much that I actually stopped playing altogether for a couple of months until I got the music working properly after installing it on my new system. (With the help of a few good people here )It's very important for my enjoyment of the game to have the music playing in the background. It also seems to affect the desire to play on "just a few more turns" in some strange way. It's like the music kind of encourages me to keep on playing. No willpower. Hammurabi's Code is my favourite piece too. |

My daughter (then 6) sometimes wanted me to "work" on the computer instead of playing/reading. I just couldn't figure why, until I saw her face when I won a Civ2 game. She had heard Beethoven's 9th once I was playing, and had waited for it to come again. She now has her own Beethoven CD.C.

My stupid CD-ROM drive has something messed up with it and I can't play ANY music CD on it. It really stinks. |

A lady of style, Catullus. Wish you joy of her.Come to think of it a "Beethoven's Garden of Joy" would make a splendid addital WoW. Perhaps the result of building it would be for European civs always to offer an alliance in negotiation and barbarians who approach the city in which it has been built to become settlers? |

I like all the music in Civ2. I just bought the Fantastic Worlds CD and it has some pretty good stuff too. My favorite is "Fantasy". ------------------ Visit the Apolyton SetiTeam stats! |
