Hello everyoneI recently have returned to playing CivII Fantastic Worlds after a summer hiatus. I used to have no problems playing the game before. Now however whenever the program requires the Get_Info application to run (i.e. new civilisation advances) I get a Windows error;
Fatal Exception 0E has occurred at 0137:BFF9A07C
And I have to reboot my computer. Any thoughts?
I have emailed tech support but have yet to hear anything and that was almost a week ago.
I'm trying to wrack my brain about any new software or hardware that I loaded over the summer but I'm drawing a blank. I have tried reinstalling the game 3-4 times and also reinstalled Windows 95. |

Civ2 will run without Get_info - try removing this program ...   ------------------

I for myself didn't even install the civilopedia... it sucks... after the lates patch there should be a kind of mini-pedia in the game, also without get_info... this might already be in the first version, I don't know |

I had the same problem a long time back, but like the other guys said the Civopedia isn't worth much. I just removed it and continued Civving  |

i never use the civilopedia...i got "civilopedia w/ advances" off. |
