Topic: 2,000 version ICQ problem???? |  |

When logging on, my home page starts to load, then an ICQ page takes over. I have gone into the Temp files to locate and delete the offenders, but each time I sign back on one with a new name is the culpret for the ICQ page to continue taking over my homepage.Anyone know how to solve this? ------------------

s3vvt8u9 is the name on microsoft hotmail document icon
even clicking it takes you to the ICQ site. And deleting it only gets it replaced by another. |

Mine has been working fine. Just got it yesterday. Did you look in your preferences? Lost of bad stuff in there. Just turn it off.------------------

Thx Cornmaster, even tho I had checked preferences before, and turned off a bunch of stuff, at your suggestion I looked at them a little closer and found under "connections" on the left, a place to uncheck a box called "launch default web browser when connection is detected"seem to be working fine now and my homepage has been rescued from unauthorized hoodwinking Thats all you need Empress and 200 should be fine. |
