where I can find a single-player to multiplayer game converter. I tried one this morning but it was awfully confusing. |

The only way I know of is to just get the MGE and then download the 1.3(?) patch... |

Converter? Never heard of it. The SP version of Civ doesn't have the software to allow MP. As cavebear suggests, buy the MP version. The 1.3 patch is the latest PC version. The latest Mac patch is v. 1.1.1.------------------ finbar Mono Rules! #33984591 |

I am talking about hotseat play. i know there is some. I downloaded one that was quick and easy to use. But it was lost with my old hard drive. I think it was called civ2hack. |

I just found another one over at winsite.com, under win95/98 programs/games/strategy. it's called multiplayerciv2, and it seems to work just fine for hotseat, and although it fails to recognize my saved games under the FW expansion, it freely converts them to a form it can use. instead of playing civnet with my kids, I'm going to play this from now on.BTW, it claims to have ipx, internet, and modem option, too. |
