Just upgraded from 98SE to 2K and, despite all efforts, repeatedly get a Stack Fault after selecting English. Anyone having similar problems? Anyone possibly heard of a patch? |

I think the patch is Win 98 SE. Bill doesn't release software that works!! not until the third edition that is (DOS 3, Windows 3 etc) You should have waited until W2K SE at least!!  ------------------

Tanuki, which language is your W2k using ?
Try to use the same, if possible with civ.
For civ 2.42, you can change it with the civ.ini in your windows directory. 0 is english, 1 is french, 2 german.
I cannot say much more cause I'm still with W95.
I've had time to get used to most of the bugs. | |
