Hi I'm SG3 younger subordinate of 1 and 2 (actually, I'm SG[1]'s daughter), I like Civ, but I'm not very good yet!
I have been told that if I read and (try to) understand the threads my game will improve.
This is my first posting, just to tell you that I'm here!

What level do you play on now? When I got here I literally just played on Chieftan, but now I can play on Deity...not always win...but I'm on par at least. |

You old guys are soooooo cynical!!! having kids is a wonderful, fabulous and truely astounding thing!! The Joys you get from raising children surely can be nothing short of heaven!! seeing their little bodies and minds develope into living, breathing, thinking people in their own right!! I just can't wait... |

Today I had to babysit two kids, a three year old and a three months old. The three month old wouldn't stop crying unless i was holding him or feeding him, and the three year old kept getting a kick out of punching me, or hitting me with a plastic golf club. Are you SURE you want something like that, Oldman?------------------

Like it says Oldman, I'm a University Lecturer in IT (like to think of myself as a programmer) and SG(2)'s a printer - we got to know each other over the bridge table, found we shared a number of interests (including a love of red wine) and when SG2 got a computer I helped to install it - slipped the odd game on to the HDD and the rest is history. There is a little more towards the end of this thread

I like sharing with dad for one I don't have to remember the password! and 2 I'm a prince(ss) by proxy.
SandMonkey I put my age in the FAQ and just in case the effort of asking the computer to go back a page is too much I'm 14(nearly 15!)
Oldman even I think kids are more trouble than they're worth and I'm only 14(nearly 15!)
and why can't I be a princess, queen, empress, and of course Goddess?

Emperor Mao sems to sit better than Deity - there was a book once on Mao (Tse-tung, that is), called "Emperor of the Ants".Maybe a quicker way to Deity is the SG way, just form you family/cartel/corporation login. |

Nice idea, getting to Princess by using your Dads login!!!! I had to work like a madman posting getting out of warlord, but don't tell Ming that!?!? I'm only joking about the kids thing by the way!!! my girlfriend is getting all broody, and we're only 21, so i've no intention of starting a familly of little Oldmen, i'd have to change my Login and everything!?!?!?
