I challenge thee to edit out the crippling of diplomacy in 1750.

Hmmmm...if this is a scenario, how about setting the human tribe as one tribe, and creating a series of events that cause a global war between all ai-civs, triggered at 1750, the turn before, and the turn after?

Granted, it's no hex-edit
:P

I haven't heard of a 1750 barrier crippling diplomacy before...what is it, exactly?

I am talking about normal games. In 1750 (Deity, give or take four years) the AI all become disgruntled and are impossible to negotiate with. I am not sure whether it is flag to be toggled on in the save file or a permanent if in the executable.

* Puts tongue firmly in cheek and adopts a plaintive little girl voice *
But the game is always over before 1750 - all the bad people have gone away and my space ship has landed.
(sorry couldn't resist)
