I have not played civ 2 in a long time. Please tell me which key it is that unites my forces. You know, to have more than one unit together as one. Thanks. |

You mean stacking units? Put one on top of the other(s) and hit F to fortify. Unless you mean something else entirely. ------------------ finbar Mono Rules! #33984591 |

This is anew trick to me. I think you're talking about WarCraft and not Civ2. |

You cannot actually combine units in civ - they are always independent and move and attack as single units. However, when a number of them are stacked into a single square they are all vulnerable to attack defending as the _single_ best defensive unit - if it loses the whole stack dies. The only defense to this is to be in a city, or to be in a fortress (built by a settler/engineer using the f key). Hope this clarifies the situation ------------------ ____________ Scouse Git[1] "CARTAGO DELENDA EST" - Cato the Censor |

Thanks. I guess I just remembered doing it in Call to Power and thought I did it in Civ 2 also. Thanks again for the help. |
