One more time I might appear pedantic, but isn't this the wrong topic for a civ2-forum?!Nevertheless, I for myself didn't ever get any contact with australian humor, but if you mean AUSTRIAN humor, then you could be right...  |

Gee, SlowHand, on behalf of the other lunatics in the asylum, may I say how touched we are by your tribute? There's a very old, very famous Oz cartoon. Man #1 is hanging by his fingernails, high above the ground, from a girder on a construction site. Man #2, in turn, is hanging from Man #1's feet. In the process of clinging on, Man #2 has pulled Man #1's trousers down to his ankles. Man #2 is looking up - at Man #1's wedding tackle - and is pissing himself laughing. Man #1 is looking down at Man #2 and exclaiming: "For Gawd's sake, stop laughing! This is serious!". That about sums it up.

PS, SlowHand, I forgot to mention that Australians are so insecure and racked with self-doubt that they're uncomfortable with accepting tribute. Comes from being an isolated backwater at the arse-end of the world. ------------------
