I've been on the internet for a year or so now, so I understand things like ROTFLMAO and NIM and so on, but I've yet to understand the little abbreviations that occur here at Apolyton. Can someone please tell me what MGE, OCC and other things (you know what they are) mean? Thanks! ------------------ "I have found you can find happiness in slavery" neilinoz@hotmail.com

You are not the first (or last) to be confused. Try ../../Forum1/HTML/000967.html which itself contains a link to another bumper acronym thread.MGE - Multiplayer Gold Edition OCC - One City Challenge (get to AC with only one city at deity) ____________ Scouse Git[1] "CARTAGO DELENDA EST" - Cato the Censor [This message has been edited by Scouse Gits (edited February 02, 2000).] |

Thanks heaps.OCC sounds like an incredible challenge. I used to do OCC in CIV 1, but set at Chieftan level. Geez.... I can't even win a game at Emperor... yet. ------------------ "I have found you can find happiness in slavery" neilinoz@hotmail.com

Hehe. Don't worry - you will one day. The only bad thing about it though is that once you've beaten the AI at a certain level it's no longer really challenging if you play that level again, forcing us to come up with our own challenges (eg. OCC). |

Not ready for OCC yet, but maybe I can beat it at one of the lower levels. |
