I've now started to build my spaceship. However, instead of the graphic, I get a black & white list of what has been produced, basically, all the figures that are down the side of the picture, but no picture.Anybody know anything about what might cause this? Jim W

Is the SS.DLL in the Civ2 directory still intact? That file holds the Spaceship graphics. |

Well, I posted the original post at an early hour of the morning.After some sleep, it came to me that I ought to just reload, so I did. When I checked, there were the p[ictures, just like they should be. I still wonder what happened, though. I know that the other day I was looking at the .gif files on the program, and I suspect that something I did then caused the problem. It seems just a little funny that I could then play about eight hours of Civ 2 without something else showing up (or not showing up) until I hit the spaceship-building phase. Jim W | |
