Another German. Berlin.
Strange thing about the lack of germans in this thread. We wouldn't hate a war game because our grandfathers lost two wars. Even if Civ2 would be a war game.

Cockney Dave: I think that the States is currently the biggest instigator of wars, but Britain is close.

No, the US is not the greatest instigator of wars. It is the greatest instigator of 'Police Actions', 'Incidents', 'Pre-dawn Vertical Insertations' and similar things.

I believe, that not only is the civ world dominated by people from the US, it is dominated by those in -6 (Central standard time) time zone =) take a look at the ladder!

(i know the ladder doesn't mean much, but is the only evidence i could come up with to support my claim hehe)

I'm just registered and a fairly recent fan of Civ2 -- but completely hooked!

I'm living in Toronto, Canada, and when I play the game, I'm usually Prince of the Candadians.

Who has seen Stockholm, does not forget it.

Yes, I live in this strange country where 50% income tax, $100 for drinks in one evening and 10 degrees C in May is all right.

And by the way, we Swedes understand written (but not spoken) Dutch rather well.

Wish I lived in Stockholm...since I last visited I have lived in another beautiful city: San Francisco. SF is the home of a bunch of annoying 20 year olds who think they are rich because their internet company sells a lot of stuff at a loss, and now they are borrowing money to buy two bedroom condos for a million dollars - can you say "crash"? Grandfather emigrated to Chicago from Ludvika, Sweden, where a million $US will still buy you a pint of Pripps, and it is light enough in the summer to find your way home at 4 in the morning. Happy Midsummer!

I'm from the Great State of Utah,USA, quite possibly the most wonderfull place on earth. Unfortunately I am now forced to live in the state of Flatansas oh, I mean Kanflat or ah Kansmountainlessforsakenplainstatehomeofsatan, no, that's not it either. I'll have my wife type it. No obsenities, now honey.

Kansas

Yeah, that's it.

But I will one day return to my homeland for ever. And if the Liberty bell should be a WoW, so should the Salt Lake Temple.

By the way, will Americans still not be the clear majority next month after our secretly planned invasion of Canada that I'll be in .......Dooh, hey, nobody say anything to the Canadians, please.

I mean it. Shshshshshsh.

Wrong. Washington State is better. Utah comes in second or third. Oh, and by the way, Michigan, where I live now, is almost as flat as KansWhatever.

Greetings from Wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark. I suppose ya'll know where that's located, eh ?

Funny TV-commercial running here now for a certain gas company: Two Texans just heard of this new campaign in Scandinavia, and one says: "Damned Scandinavians, nothin' but bullfighters and flamenco-dancers all together!"

On the other hand, we Danes know just about everything about American geography... Fast_Eddie must be really pleased with that famous beach in Omaha...
