First off, I made up names for the first two, but my imagination started to have a hard time after that, so I went to other esoteric sources. I've got several tribes, with names and leaders from the Handbook of American Indian Indian Languages (They have aa section on Sioux (properly Dakota) which I'm saving to replace the Sioux on the list.

From other sources, I've got old Anatolian Languages (Lycian, Lydian, and Hittite) and there are a few others. I'm about halfway through, working on it a bit at a time, but I should be all done in a few weeks.

If it wasn't more trouble than it's worth, I'd try to get some generic graphics for the diplomatic screens.

However, if anyone wants to look at my list, either as it is now, or as it will be when I get done, let me know.

(Right now I'm just doing tribe names, city names, and leader names. When I get done with that, I'll probably go through and dow something about the leader titles.)

Sorry, I don't have anything posted on a website, but until this thread I wasn't sure if anyone was interested besides me and a few other strange persons.

Better would be to dig up some of the old villages/cities of dazumal. Reykjavik, Tunsberg, Stiklestad, Svolder, Viken, Tjøtta, Hov (or Hof), Frösö, Frosta all spring to my mind.

If most of the residents of a city acted as Seafaring, WarMongering, Soon to be extinct, wearing stinky clothes and not caring what the rest of the world thinks then must be descended from Vikings.

Answer to the area vs city question. I Dont know if New York would really be New York without all of the suburbs which officially are their own little cities right?

Not to mention just a little difficult to find Country of Vike on the map! LOL
